Citrus Point Church Announces Strategic

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) February 20, 2012
Citrus Point Church announces it?s strategic partnership with North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, GA. Established in 2011, Citrus Point is growing rapidly in planting a permanent church home in Tampa, FL and desires to be a church that reaches unchurched people in the city of Tampa and surrounding areas. Citrus Point is leading by example in their local community by creating relevant, engaging environments that strategically lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. As a strategic partner, Citrus Point feels very blessed to have Andy Stanley as their teaching pastor. Andy is a pastor, communicator, author and founder of North Point Ministries, Inc. (NPM) North Point Ministries was begun in 1995 with a single mission: to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, community with insiders, and influence with outsiders.
Lead Pastor of Citrus Point, Jimmy Cazin comments??We are so excited about our movement, our mission is to lead all people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.? Citrus Point Church believes this happens most effectively in community groups. Therefore, they are building a church on a foundation of circles, not rows. Citrus Point has three primary environments for life-change. 1. ?Foyer? environments are large group settings designed for unchurched people to enjoy their experience. 2. ?Living Room? environments are medium-sized group settings designed for people to make friends. And 2. ?Kitchen? environments are small group settings designed for people to connect in more meaningful ways.? Lead Pastor, Jimmy Cazin brings with him 25 years of ministry experience including leading worship, time on staff with Young Life and being a head pastor. Born and raised in south Tampa, Jimmy has a desire and passion to reach the unchurched in Tampa, with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Citrus Point is reaching out to Tampa, Florida and surrounding areas asking people to join them for their next powerful service titled ?Our Sunday Best? on Sunday, February 26th at 11:00 am at the Hillsborough Community College Ybor Performing Arts Building, located on the corner of E. Palm Ave and N. 14th Street, 33605. The message will correlate with the thought that each weekend, thousands of people put on their Sunday best and make their way to church but this message will focus on the church itself, what they are trying to accomplish and what it really means to put on Sunday’s best. Members of Citrus Point encourage people to bring their whole family and want the community to know that they have a great environment set up for elementary age children (K ? 5th grade). Children will have a great time in the UpStreet environment where they learn how to study the Bible through fun activities, to worship through singing, and to build lasting friendships with other kids and adult leaders. Citrus Point Church will also have a fun children?s environment available for children ages 6 weeks through 4 years old.
Visit their website http://www.citruspoint.org and connect with them online and through social media platforms including facebook and twitter. Citrus Point Church encourages people in local communities to read for themselves what others are saying about them. The members of Citrus Point Church feel very blessed to have the opportunity to create environments that make it easy for people to turn to God and are excited about inviting friends who don?t attend church.
