Question by Myself: MLS Search?
I look up houses constantly all over the U.S
So the local mls’s good as they are, simply aren’t working for me.
Realtor.com does the job yet very slow…
So slow I sometime leaves entire cities just because I don’t have the time to search
Any advice?

You could pay a monthly fee and get a license and join the propriety MLS system in each city (rather than the free web sites). It is much more detailed and faster. But each one is a little different so the learning curve would be there.

If you are doing this just for fun you would not want to spend the money but if this is a living to you then my suggestion is the only one that makes sense.

British Motor Gun Boat 1939-45

During World War II, few groups within the Royal Navy fought a harder, more intense war than the men of Coastal Forces. Their job was to operate the Motor Torpedo Boats (MTBs), Motor Launches (MLs) and Motor Gun Boats (MGBs) that protected coastal convoys, attacked enemy ones, and performed a myriad of duties, which include the dropping of agents and commandos on a hostile shore, raids on enemy ports, and near-suicidal attacks on larger enemy warships. While the MTBs were the “bombers”, delivering their payload of high explosive torpedoes, the crew of the MGBs used their machine guns and small-calibre guns to sink, burn or destroy their enemy counterparts. For that reason they saw their frail, sleek craft as the “Spitfire of the Seas”. Motor Gun Boats were similar to Motor Torpedo Boats, only their decks were crammed with as many guns as they could carry – and to man these weapons, they required a larger crew. During the early years of the war, they were used to counter the threat posed by German E-Boats in the English Channel, but by 1941 they were in use offensively, conducting sweeps along the enemy coast in search of prey. By 1942 British MGBs were seen in the Mediterranean, interdicting Axis supply routes to North Africa, and later supporting the Allied invasion forces as they landed in Sicily, Italy and the South of France. The majority of these small wooden craft were built in Britain by the British Power Boat Company or Fairmile Marine. They came in a variety of shapes and sizes, but in late 1942 the Fairmile “D” MGB made its appearance – a boat which would come to dominate coastal operations during the last years of the war. Known as “Dog Boats” by their crew, they were fast, powerful and versatile. The record low mortgage interest rates continue on. This week?s Homes.org mortgage report has good news for buyers. Despite renewed concerns over inflation, interest rates continued their downward trend this week. The 30-year fixed rate mortgage fell by 3 basis points this week and the 15-year fixed rate fell 5 basis points.

Current interest rates are:

4.02% – average rate for a 30-year fixed rate mortgage

3.20% – average rate for a 15-year fixed rate mortgage

Last weeks underwhelming economic reports likely had a lot to do with the rate drops, even as inflation inched upward. Despite our less than stellar news, economic matters are much more shaky in Europe which is keeping investors interested in U.S. Treasuries and mortgage backed securities.

This week there isn?t as many influential economic reports ? stocks and Europe are like to have more of an affect on rates next week. Below is n overview of this week’s most important economic reports.

Thursday: Initial Jobless Claims
Thursday: Consumer Sentiment report for May
Friday: Producer Price Index (PPI)

The results of the Producer Price Index will likely quiet talk of increasing inflation for at least a while. Experts predicted there would 0.2% rise, but the report found a 0.2% decline. There was more good news in the Consumer Sentiment index, which climbed to 77.8. That?s the highest it?s been in more than 4 years.

The Initial Jobless Claims report was also positive this week showing fewer people were on unemployment benefits was down 1,000 to 367,000.

The Homes.org mortgage team is predicting that mortgage rates will stay flat this coming week for 30 year fixed-rate mortgages and will possibly drop 1 to 2 basis points for 15 year fixed-rate mortgages.
